Forestry Community Outreach
Forestry is the science and occupation that manages trees as a resource. In recent years it has become even more than a science and gathered new powers into becoming a true art. It deals not only with trees but with plantations and natural stands as well.
What is forestry exactly and what does forestry do? It is a branch of or a similar science to silviculture, which tends to trees and forests from growing them to caring for them. However forestry does a little bit more than that: it manages resources is such a way as to be useful or the environment and for man as well.
In recent decades a forestry community outreach has been made in order to get more people interested and involved in the management of tree resources. Community forestry is even seen as a specific branch of forestry as to fulfill the needs of man and nature altogether. It is viewed as the best option in order to conserve nature as close to how it is as possible, while at the same time generating income from forests.
The forestry community outreach has been established in order to make more people aware of the benefits and the way that forestry works. Over the recent years it has become a popular movement and has achieved a change in the way of thinking for many.
Community forestry allows the population of rural areas to manage the village or town tree resources in such a way as to bring benefits to the place they live. The environment is considered carefully before any decision made and the fact that the whole community becomes involved in the process makes it beneficial for the community as well.
Forestry community outreach is a movement that should spread to every area due to its favorable nature from both an economical and an environmental point of view.
